I always wondered what it would be like

To just be okay no more long nights and dumb fights

Cause everything was way too heavy and I knew this was temporary

But it showed me what I've always needed

To just be happy

Driving downtown, somewhere in the crowd, spinning me around

To just be happy

Holding my hand, dancing round the fire, bodies in the sand

And it's okay that it didn't work out between us

Cause what I learned is how it's supposed to be
