In Motion

I drove downtown to meet some friends one sunday afternoon

But no one was there waiting, i must have been too soon

Til i slowly realized waiting wasn't going to do no good

So i set off in search of a brand new neighborhood

I drove across the country through thunderstorms and rain

I came down from the mountains and drove across the plains

I drove off in directions i didn't even know

With the air-conditioning turned up high as it would go

As long as I have air-conditioning cold against my skin

I know that I'm in motion, one step ahead of my sins
