Can you hear the whispers calling out your name

It's a shadow, the only thing that's real around you

Little voices echo like a taunting game

Still you hide from a world, a world that shuns you

Kill the light and run and hide from everything

Through the glowing doorway, you command your world, denying

With your back against it all, you can't move or you will fall

But the truth is higher than your mind commands

In your safety you retreat, so afraid to face defeat

Just watching as the world slips through your hands
