Woke up late, but my clock's still wrong

Coffee maker coughs, won't play along

Popcorn won't pop, record keeps skippin'

Even my disco ball's done quit spinnin'!

"Time to get up and get funky!" (Nah, I'd really rather not)

"Let's get up and make some noise!" (Meh, is that the best we got?)

"Shake it loose, let's feel the groove!" (Maybe later, now lemme snooze!)

"C'mon, you know you wanna dance!" (Not a chance, not a chance!)

Put on my socks, but they don't even match

Cat won't judge me, just too detached
