I've been running in circles, trapped under my hand

This mouse clicks for nickels, I can barely stand

The world fades around me, unseen and nuclear

Inside these four walls, time slowly disappears

They echo my secrets, they answer my calls

The cracks hold my silence, the shadows grow tall

I see it so clearly, this self-made delusion

But I choose to keep working,

and grinding, and fading, return to seclusion

I hear steps behind me, I pull off my phones
