I still remember that day when I walked into a new school

Feeling nervous and afraid, but then I met someone cool

His name was Mike Kukys with a smile that lit up the room

He said, hey, wanna come over to my place? And little did I know, my life was about to bloom

We became friends in 6th grade, playing Sonic three all day

We were video game buds, never did we run out of things to play

Built a wrestling team of our own, had rumbles in his backyard

And when we were done, those memories were etched in our hearts

His house was like a castle with a backyard that was a dream

We would spend hours playing in the most epic Nerf gun teams
