Midnight Sermon

Sundays find me in the pulpit, preacher of the Lord

Wearing my old boots and a Bible, preaching heaven's sword

I take the stage, my sermon ready, to all who gather 'round

Sharing tales of love and guidance, in this sacred country town

Hymns and prayers fill the air, as the sun sets low

The congregation hums along, in each heart, a glow

I speak of grace and forgiveness, of the wonders up above

Seeking solace in this small town, with blessings from the one I love

Oh, hear me now, my brothers and sisters, gather 'round the steeple

In this holy house, our souls entwined, we find hope and faith in this time of need
