White Snow

I met you on a winter's day the white snow falling down

Your laughter lit the frozen air a warmth I'd never found

You held my hand so tenderly I thought you'd always stay

But love like snow can melt away and leave the cold to stay

One day when white snow was falling you said you loved me true

Your pretty lips they carved the words as soft as morning dew

But now the snow is all that's left your voice has disappeared
