Two o'clock and there's no more rock & roll playing here

The crowd is small, as I hear last call and I swallow down my last beer

The equipment is stored, no more songs to explore as the night draws to an end

As I stand on the stage, calling out that last page

Now across that big room, amidst all of the gloom, I see her just standing there
