Writing songs from my books that I read in the sixth grade in my bed

I know without them I'd end up dead

Every time I know what you think of me, I just think deeper into the sea

Where I'm just chilling on a boat, listening to words an author wrote

They help me escape my life, solving problems

If they're not mine to solve, they help me cope with it all

Will you hold my hand when I tell you this

I don't think I'm cut out for all of this life bullshit

I know what you're thinking, don't quit if you're not thinking right

Everything will be fine if you just give it a bit of time
