The Canopy

You woke up a dead spark inside that had been named obsolete,

positioned next to my heart

so it'd never miss a beat

The serge it flooded my bloodstream

and tucked underneath my sleeve

So every time I wiped my nostrils

electric shocks when I breathe

Ive been running from this underwater feeling for so long

I handed you my rubble and you turned it into song

You fixed a dent in my head That I didn't know was there

Let alone needed repaired and now the spark it just sits there and sings
