Fog

As the raindrops pelt my tired frame

I struggle to my feet, and I scamper away

Under the trees, hiding in the shadows

To find my bearings in deafening internals

The noise is disorienting, the screams of rage

Through strained breaths and groans of pain

Drowns out the sound of the nature around

While I hold in my screams internally bound

Trying to subside them so I could hear

The coughs and murmurs of people near
