I've walked through the fire felt the burn on my skin

Left pieces of myself in every shadowed corner

Fought battles in silence wounds hidden deep

Carved out of steel but breaking under the weight

i hear the roar the hunger it pulls me under

Fury that shakes the walls screams in my head

A beast that I've fed with every scar and secret

A relentless voice that never lets me rest

I stand on the edge staring into the black
