If My Baby like Me

I used to believe that God was this big man in the sky

And that all of the angels were these beautiful men and women

With these giant white wings and glowing golden halos

And every night that I was scared

I would pray, and I'd ask for protection from all the evils of the world

And I would imagine all the angels coming into my room

And building like an impenetrable dome around me

And I'd picture that in my head, and I'd think, I'm safe

Even if just for tonight, I'm safe

I don't know if I believe in the same God that I used to believe in
