A Tribe Of One

I search and I long and I hunger, for something I can't seem to find

A feeling that's followed me here down the corridors of time

I lived my life in constant hiding

From everything I'd really feel

I covered up the truth I thought I knew

And I pretended the lies were real

There's a cost of life or some sacrifice or just knowing when to run

And it's just begun for this tribe of one, who walks a long road home

We're all so busy surviving that we don't take time to live

Losing our hopes and dreams for a lie that we try to believe
