To walk with You on life's winding road, oh Lord, that's all I crave

In the quiet of the morning light, for only You can save

Away from all the noise and crowds, I find a place of rest

For in Your presence, I am whole, knowing I am blessed

A heart that faints, a soul so weak, it needs the Master's hand

No worldly thrill, no shallow thing can help me understand

I don't need a fleeting high, or some emotional excuse

Just give me grace, Your loving face, that's steady, safe, and pure

So come, my Lord, refresh my soul, I'm thirsty and I'm dry
