Cosmic Drift

Drifting through the stars tonight, in a sky that bends and melts away, away

Planets stretch and twist in flight, caught in a dream where colors sway, sway

Swirling dust, it pulls me in. I'm weightless in this endless spin

Galaxies, they're humming, sing, in the silence of the space we're in

I'm floating in a cosmic drift, where time and space just start to shift

Through planets made of light and flame, nothing here will stay the same

In a dream that never ends, I chase the stars around the bend

Cosmic drift, it pulls me near. In this space, I disappear

A world of light, a world of haze. Planets glow in purple skies, away

Stars align and dance amaze, in a space where reason flies, or sway
