The Storm

I was searching the creek where the shadows played

Thought I'd find some peace but I lost my way

The clouds rolled in dark as a midnight dream

With thunder over loud it ain't what it seems

Oh, the storm is raging, can't you feel the fire

We're holding on tight, climbing higher and higher

Through the lightning splash, we'll wave in shades

When the storm rolls through, we'll dance in the rain

My car broke down on that old dirt road

Six weeks in bed with a heavy load
