In the quiet, I found my place, where I could finally breathe

You saw the cracks beneath my skin, and held the parts that breathe

You came to me when all seemed lost, a shadow in the rain

Through the storm you showed me light, and eased away my pain

Silent confessions, hearts that bleed, in the night we find what's real
