Firefly

By the river's edge, I sat alone

Listening to the water's gentle tone

The moonlight danced on the flowing stream

Lost in thought, I began to dream

Then a tiny light caught my eye

A firefly beneath the night sky

It flickered bright, a glowing spark

I followed it into the dark

Through the woods and over hills

Chasing dreams, seeking thrills

You showed me places I'd never known
