Genesis 1:4 KJV

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness

How did God see the difference, when the line between is so blurred

'Cause when we hurt we begin to see the grey area as comfort

I saw a star of hope in you, with wings I pleaded to mend

But sometimes our wings are broken not from the world, but from within

I sought to help, I sought to love

I sought to feel, I sought to trust

Yet in the end I suffered and found my arms with sleeves

Wishing I would've done the right thing that fateful day
