Morning breaks the house is cold you're gone to heaven's gate

Coffee brews and memories flood it's hard to face this fate

The fields lay bare our dreams once sown now lost beneath the sky

But in your love I gather strength to push through and survive

The evenings fall the stars come out your voice a ghostly sound

The barn we built it still stands strong a testament to past
