SELF LOVE

I can tell I've grown with all the ways that I've changed

No longer the kid who was stuck in his ways

Remember back as kids, all the places we'd play

The parks are covered up with twenty years of decay

The Sidewalks that we walked are uneven and cracked

Out the rubble grew a rose, though the petals were black

Now it's congratulations every time I go back

It didn't start out as that. I was born an outcast

Didn't get the math, so I was kicked out of class

Unhealthy mental health and my emotions were masked
