The veil was sewn by my melody's absence

If I must learn of myself

Calling in the dark to the muffled voices-

I have let too many friends loose

Back into the sea

Anxious above the veil but absent beneath it

Sadness soaked the veil with rain

As it passes through the roof where I sleep and know not of it

Like a scar of protection sewn into my body

Through the veil one light becomes the stars

That come from far away
