Time has passed but memories remain

Mom and Dad you're forever in my heart easing the pain

Mom left five years ago illness took her slow

Every day she suffered the hospital became her home

Dad went suddenly ten years ago

Life changed in an instant the grief hit like a blow

He knew my sister's boys and my oldest daughter's face

So much has happened since but without you there's an empty space

Every day you're missed the pain never fades

My kids often ask where you are in their dreams you stay
