I said I should write another song about our make up

When I call you on the phone, your attention wavers and your voice begins to break up

You looked so strange when I tried to do your makeup

I loved you but I didn't

Though I hate to admit it

The more you adore me, the more of a chore that my love begins to feel

I'm not even sure how much of it was real

The breakup song was a long one anyway, there's no way you should feel

But the makeup song will never be real
