Born and raised in a trailer park, on Crenshaw

His relatives took him under their wing and raised him

Taught him everything he needed to know, on what to bring

To the world, but he wasn't prepared for the mood swings

That would tie his feelings up like some shoestrings

Inside his brain, as he grew, but he grew up, confused

Wondering why his parents weren't introduced

They loved him but were scared to break him with the sad news

But they knew that sooner or later they just had to tell him

When they did, they saw a change in his attitude

He was angry, shocked, and saddened by the truth
