Stutter

The butterflies were flying strong in my stomach, my hands were shaking, girl, I felt like a sucker

When I would think about the smile on your face with a message, I swear my heart would hesitate like a stutter

It's like I was thinking I should only care for me

Relationships required work that interfere then make a vacancy

I felt a void inside my chest, that been missin a while, and that consisted of a woman

I could walk down the aisle and smile with me while we shopped to fill our cupboards with goodies, find little decorations

We could hang by us matching hoodies, get everything we need for dinner

Maybe make homemade cookies and dance around the dinner table till the food finished cooking

And I would daydream about it daily, miss somebody I haven't even met

But I had a feeling she'd comin damn it, my heart would skip a beat every time my phone would ring
