Grass grows beneath my feet, shadows dance in fading light

Lost in moments bittersweet, in the silence of the night

Memories whisper so faint, echoes of what used to be

Hearts that broke without a pain, falling like leaves from a tree

Stuck in the past we can't let go, whisper dreams and gentle fears

In twilight watch them glow, holding tight to bygone years

Whispers float upon the breeze, crushed petals from yesterday

Time doesn't heal what it frees, in this night we softly stay

Echoes call from yonder years, silent night and calm embrace

Gently falling crystal tears, lost within each other's grace
