I went down to Piraeus yesterday with Glaucon, son of Ariston, to pray to the goddess, and at the same time I wanted to observe how they would put on the festival

And when I realize this I stand up and look around the room to see that I am surrounded by fluorescent lights and concrete walls and plastic chairs and LEDs and computer screens and a never ending flowing source of information that renders anyone I can listen to worthless

And everything I know is everything they know but I don't know if they know nothing, because if they did, it would be the only thing they know and they've proved to me that they're still convinced by the shadows on the fucking cave wall
