Lost love and faced my troubles, felt like I lost all control

Hope and faith was my guide, but I knew he was my light

His love washed away my pain, and made everything alright

Baptized in the pain, cleansed by holy fire

Tested by the trials of my life, lifted by His grace inspired

Baptized in the pain, reborn by the holy water

Saved by His precious blood.., healed by His name, Oh Father

I've stumbled... I've fallen short, caused pain along the way

Shared heartache in my songs, and felt like I gone astray

So I sought His forgiveness, Changed my ways too

His love erased my shame, and in His warm embrace I grew
