Addiction runs in the family

So I gotta work hard to prevent damaging

And its even harder when I really struggle managing

But with no self control then my life is vanishing

Been between a Buck 50 and 290 my adult life

And there's no way either number's alright

When I lose weight I drop it like a stalled flight

But when I try and keep it off it's a dogfight

We all like certain vices but mine's food and beer

I drink and eat like I'm buying souvenirs

I can quit cold turkey the proof is clear

But when I try to stay on course I refuse to steer
