Waking up, feeling alive, holding still, keeping in mind

The beautiful evening ending with legs intertwined

Not wanting to shift too much, still holding you closer

Feeling your breath, as your head rests on my shoulder

Making a move, slowly crawling away from your side

Getting up, looking out, watching the sun rising high

Reflecting on how much I never wanted the night to end

Instead, wanting to feel your caress again

Holding hands, cuddling up, feeling excited

Walking to your door, nervous, then being invited
