Intermission

I'm afraid for the day all of this comes to an end

I fear when the bills get too much and

I'm selling off guitar parts to make ends meet

The inevitable nightmare of submission

Where I burn my dresses and revert to a dead name

Failure may always be an option at least that's what I was taught

But what if you're only allowed one in a lifetime?

Waving the white flag, throwing in the towel

Shrugging your shoulders stating it is what it is

Accepting the bullshit that comes with life not being fair

The constant truth that some people carry loaded dice
