Memories remain

Sittin' on this old porch, watchin' sunset glow

Thinkin' 'bout those days gone by, workin' row by row

Plowed those fields and baled that hay, every season's pass

Grandpa's stories 'round the fire, wish those times could last

Spent my mornin's with the cattle, afternoons with rain

Now I'm sittin' here just dreamin', memories remain

The smell of the fresh-cut grass, the sun upon my face

In these simple moments, I find my peace and grace

From sunup to sundown, we worked the land so true
