Rode in on a midnight train boots scuffed and spurs a-jangle

Stetson low hid a heart that knew a little too much tangle

Whiskey eyes and a smile like sin I knew the game I played

Left a trail of broken hearts promises I couldn't braid

They call me Heartbreaker a drifter with a cause
