In July

I remember walking down that road to the graveyard

Memories always stay but they fade long

Running down the road like we had nothin to do

That night in July when hope overcame the blues

When I was so alone you put your hand on my back

I cant explain it through words it's just a feeling I had

Like the beauty of birds and the sounds that they make

I hope I see you all for the rest of my days

The light shows the way but it also makes shadows

The river runs shallow causing nature to die

I saw parallels in my life
