OKAY COWBOY

When I was young I dreamt of being a cowboy

Thought it'd be fun, I'd ride the wind and be an outlaw

Out on the run, a band of gypsies down the highway

I'd chase the sun and go wherever I had it my way

I'd pull the trigger, I'd be the fastest gun around

A lonely figure, no one on earth could tie me down

I'd shoot the sheriff, make that old plot a land a town

Out on the prairie, where there was no one else around

I'd do all those cowboy things and make my younger self real proud

And wonder why it stings when there is no one else around
