You say I'm okay I'm just in a bit of a slump

But you've been saying that to me for a year and 6 months

Completely book yourself so you won't be alone with your thoughts

The only joy you can find is in the newest thing you bought

Barely holding on

Are you too far gone?

You treat everyone with the kindness you were seeking

You give everyone affection hoping you'll receive it

You tell everybody else the advice you always needed to hear the most

You fix everything in the world but you never seem to fix yourself
