Death of a King

In the shadow of the mountains where the icy winds do wail

A Viking king has fallen and the land is draped in veil

The ravens sing their mournful song across the frozen plain

For the king has been claimed by Odin and now in Valhalla he shall reign

Oh raise your horns and sing aloud the tales of bravery told

For the warrior king now rests with gods in halls of gold

With sword in hand and shield held high he fought with all his might

Now he feasts with heroes and gods beneath the Northern lights

The longships sail in silence across the darkened sea

As warriors gather on the shore to bid their king farewell
