I've sat in silence all day cause I don't know what to say

Doesn't anyone keep anything to themselves anymore

I find that strangers bring me peace

People I know give me anxiety that lingers at the core

I thought I'd reduced it to a ghost of my past

That still hangs around for a second chance

I've never kept my friends close even my enemies don't

Doesn't anyone else know anything about themselves anymore

I find destruction brings me peace

Anything less will always be dead to me the way it was before
