Puppet King

On my knees, I fumble in the dark

I was looking for a spark to take me somewhere sensory

I know she’s here, I can taste the cheap perfume

And I am desperate to consume until I am spinning in her spider web

I know we’re sinking, just how far down is she prepared to go?

Each chain is freedom, each twisted thought, each bitter blow

She tells me it’s the reign of the puppet king

And it’s here that I’m going to stay

Chains hold me down, beneath the weight of this crown

With her puppet king she knows she can play
