I need something else, this is obviously not cutting it

Bottles on the shelf never helped when I was chugging it

Look me in the eyes ill straight lie and say I'm loving it

Why is it so hard to tell these people when you're struggling

Even when I tried, it didn't work cause I would mumble it

Maybe it's been years, but I've been stuck in this recovering

Hating that I turned to it and cursed the day I discovered it

Look me in the eyes and tell me baby, you've been loving it

I didn't have to try- and in a way, I'm growing numb to it

Money wouldn't help, I've had every chance there is to thumb through it

I keep going silent every time it ever comes to it
