You went away, where did you go

I didn't know, I didn't need to know

You wanted me, but then you had to go, You needed me, you needed me to know

So many words and so much heart, An artificial testament, the pages ripped apart

A swollen hand and a door that never opened, A calming voice of reassurance that should

have been the end, A door that should have never been approached

A calming touch and saying way too much, Delusional and pure of heart and drinking

like a fiend, And a mouth that's full of words that you

don't mean

And a kindness that is borderline obscene
