I don't wanna hear one more thing about taking sides

I'll live in fear of that for the rest of my life

Need to go from one extreme and then back

Back to the other side

But not as someone so attached to someone else's lie

Need more perspective and less conjecture in this life

What do I put into this world

Unending questions pile up encasing every word

And if I can't just climb up

And feel smothered by the world

I'll just pretend it doesn't hurt
