Sometimes I feel like a marigold in the breeze

My thoughts drifting to the view from the mountain peak

My old friend

But driving past that old road makes me remember your face

And when I'm driving on that road I want to forget your name

I'm scared of these recurring dreams

Of laughing down these roads as we faced the world

Smiles on our faces as we race towards the storm

With fire in our eyes

A fire that lit up the entire sky
