Ballad of Infidelity

It's after the show, it's very late in the night

Out in the parking lot with our never-ending fight

I'm calm and sober, her screams I refuse to listen

She wants me to lose my temper so that she can play the victim

It's been over an hour, we're standing here alone

But since she won't get in the car I can not drive us home

Since she won't get in, I'll let her walk on home, it's not that far

But I'm a prisoner here, can't escape cuz she lays down in front of my car

She's been badgering me all night but I haven't lost my temper

In her drunken stupor, what started this fight I don't even remember
