My Heart

I want to know, I want to know how I feel, want to know how I feel, how I feel,

When my heart, my heart, my heart, when you break my heart in two

I started thinking about this narrative of mine, from where it all began to the passage of its time

To what the future holds and the patterns I devised, to the simple times set upon this carriage as I write

So every day we patiently medicate, silhouetted lines ingrained as I meditate

It's only right I let my pen game elevate and celebrate while sipping a cider bubble I levitate

And fall backwards, the gravity's too strong, I'm pulled and enticed by the patterns I move on

I love the relief that I get when I speak, but I don't want to talk if you're getting your moves wrong

The wound's gone, but I move with a slight limp, tight griping onto the handle

I might slip, eyes twitch, bugging out the camera clicked, acid flash back, hit me like a bag on a brick
