You feel like I've been starving all day

And I just took my first bite of steak

Or that I went to bed at eight

And woke up fourteen hours later that day

Like I'm cuddled up in my sheets

Listening to the rain hit concrete

Like I just landed in LA

And I look up at the buildings on display

It's really something that I can't describe

I just know it makes me feel alive
