I am dressed in newspapers dug out of the trash

Dichotomy like fire burning snowflakes made of ash

Kisses cover music notes and letters sent to lovers

Pictures on the stairwell like time capsules rediscovered

Cherries on my chessboard, ribbons in my hair

Do it for the aesthetic, but no one seems to care

Dollar bill bookmarks and berry scent perfume

And I got broken records hanging up in my room

Flowers pressed in notebooks or in test tubes on the wall

Ruby lips and lashes thick, like a china doll
